The ancient Greeks were the first to create a democracy. The word “democracy” comes from two Greek words that mean people (demos) and rule (kratos).
Our Story
About
In the year 507 B.C., the Athenian leader Cleisthenes introduced a system of political reforms that he called demokratia, or “rule by the people” (from demos, “the people,” and Kratos, or “power”). It was the first known democracy in the world.
American Promise. Global Mission
Written in 1787, ratified in 1788, and in operation since 1789, the United States Constitution is the world’s longest surviving written charter of government. Its first three words – “We The People” – affirm that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens.

This Agenda is a plan of action for people, the planet, and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom.
People – We are determined to end poverty and hunger, in all their forms and dimensions, and to ensure that all human beings can fulfil their potential in dignity and equality and in a healthy environment.

People First Consulting is entrenched in a philosophy that values people and human rights over profits. The ironic twist is that when a nation values its people as whole individuals and provides the opportunity for well-being, connection, and fulfillment, that nation is generally more innovative, resilient, and even profitable.
